Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for writing technical documentation for control
systems used by customers in a range of industries including the
aerospace, automotive and mechanical engineering domain; writing
online help content for engineers and scientists who use MathWorks
products to design, analyze, and implement systems for tracking,
sensor fusion, and inertial navigation; writing user-focused
content that explains key theoretical concepts and practical
solutions to model, simulate, and evaluate sensor fusion and
tracking systems; developing examples and tutorials that use
MathWorks software to design and test these systems; working with
the user community and customer-facing groups to research
information needs; collaborating with the development team in the
planning, specification, and testing phases of product development;
and helping MathWorks develop next-generation online resources.
Education and Experience:
Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering and no experience.
Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five
(5) years of experience in technical writing for estimation and
Demonstrated expertise designing and developing estimation
algorithms and tools for autonomous systems, including applying
dynamics theories -- multibody and attitude dynamics -- as well as
estimation theories -- Kalman filtering and multi-sensor data
Demonstrated expertise using MATLAB and Simulink to design and
simulate estimation systems.
Demonstrated expertise writing technical reports or published
research on estimation or control systems.
