Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for contributing to the marketing and sales of
MathWorks sophisticated engineering products to university
customers; designing and developing sophisticated software product
models and simulations to demonstrate MathWorks product
capabilities in education and research; developing technical
engineering demonstrations of MathWorks modeling, simulation and
analysis software to support the companys industry marketing
activities to the university sector; demonstrating the value of
MATLAB and Simulink to grow customer adoption in curriculum,
research and commercial projects; and promoting topics, including:
computational thinking, coding to learn, the use of MathWorks'
products in industry, and the benefits of teaching and learning
MATLAB skills. Requires frequent travel and on short notice.
Education and Experience:
Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and one (1) year of experience in
job offered or one (1) year of experience designing and delivering
technical customer support for mathematical modeling and simulation
Demonstrated expertise providing technical customer support of
image processing, computer vision, machine and deep learning, or
statistics and optimization applications.
Demonstrated expertise programming in C/C++ and MATLAB to
support image processing applications.
Demonstrated expertise assessing customer requirements; and
evaluating and developing marketing content, including messaging
and demonstration materials for MATLAB-based workflows.
Demonstrated expertise delivering technical engineering concepts
including MATLAB-based training curriculum to students in a
