Looking for a frontend engineer to join a small, student-run startup as the first employee. Monolog is an audio-journaling iOS app which transcribes and processes user's entires, and then helps them to determine their trends, behaviors, and associations.// ResponsibilitiesYour role will be to work in Swift/ SwiftUI to continue developing the frontend of the iOS app. At Monolog, we celebrate independence, drive and creativity. We are looking for an engineer who is comfortable making decisions and implementing their own creative license, yet can also work well in a team. You will need to get caught up to speed quickly and be able to take over the frontend work.This is a PART-TIME position.// Requirements1-5 years of experience in Swift/ SwiftUI and know best practices for iOS app development. University students or recent graduatess preferred.Earned or presently earning either a bachelor's degree in a technical field involving coding (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics) or equivalent technical experience.Strong advocate for great user experience, with an eye for detail, design, and interactionExperience working with git/source controlDriven, flexible, self-starter with the ability to work independentlyAbility to deliver engineering tasks on time and with high qualityCompensation in company stock options.
