Job Description:

A global travel company are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their team. This exciting opportunity gives the SRE a chance to make a real impact in the growth and development of our clients well know application / website which operates across nearly 50 markets, over 20 languages and nearly 500 million average monthly activities. Our client Does not offer sponsorship for this role, so you must have full rights to work in the US.

Site Reliability Engineer Responsibilities:
Moving our client from on premises to AWS cloud, pushing for best practices
Working with the wider engineering team to developing or integrating necessary tooling and monitoring to ensure that the teams can maintain target SLO's
Improve reliability in development, testing, and deployment to production.

As the Site Reliability Engineer, you will bring experience with:
AWS technologies such as (e.g. EKS, ECS, CDK, RDS, Dynamo)
Experience with CI/CD tooling
Coding experience with ideally Java (due to a lot of their applications in this). however, any other strong object oriented language such as Python would be suffice

Our client have an office just outside of California, where you are more than welcome to travel into. However the role can be done Fully remotely.
