You will be responsible for developing infrastructure to automate data collection and metrics generation, integrating with third party tools, developing ETL solutions to assimilate data from different systems and applications, and using your creativity to propose new ideas for mining, generatting and presenting information in compelling ways that help improve our R&D processes. - - Why You Will Love It Here! - -

  • Work with a team of program managers across the entire Eze product line to develop infrastructure and processes to track engineering information.
  • Design and implement ETL mechanisms to ingest and merge data from different sources and create compelling R&D metrics from them. - Metrics may include analysis of project and program performance over time, past and future projected costs, and any additional new / compelling ideas we can form.
  • Act as the "go-to" resource for our data infrastructure and metrics generation technologies. -
  • Guide the team from a technical perspective (database organization and ingestion / transformation methods) and from a creative perspective (evolving ideas on what metrics will be most useful, evaluating third party analysis products that may be useful.)
  • Investigate use of cutting-edge technologies like Machine Learning and how they can help us create new insights.What You Will Bring: -
    • Experience integrating R&D applications such as Jira, Snowflake, PowerBI
    • Strong experience in programming languages such as Python, C++ and or Java, and database query languages such as SQL
    • Senior level experience with Excel
    • Strong understanding of design elements that contribute to and detract from application quality, scalability and performance, in particular for SaaS applications.
    • Experience developing and delivering metrics to a wide range of end users, from developers and QA engineers to product managers, to executives.
    • Experience proposing and reviewing processes to integrate data collection and metrics generation into team workflow
    • Strong communication skills - engage with stakeholders to define and refine requirements. -
    • Strong planning skills - able to accurately assess project tasks and dependencies and deliver results in line with the expectations you provide.Thank you for your interest in SS&C!
