Our client is looking for a self-driven and motivated engineer with a passion in the field of energy storage. In this position, the candidate will have an opportunity to drive rapid and innovative advancements in materials and processes for next-generation energy storage systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for active R&D efforts and will work closely with a team of engineers and scientists to deliver products with demanding performance requirements. This position will be excellent for recently graduated candidates who are seeking an exciting field to work in with a promise of a rapid career growth.



Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Formulate, prepare, and test battery electrodes and electrolytes in small format cells
  
• Conduct electrochemical characterizations such as galvanostatic cycling (CC), galvanostatic-potentiostatic cycling (CC-CV), cyclic voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) using tools such as MACCOR, Arbin, Gamry, PAR, and Bio-Logic.
  
• Analyze reaction chemistries and optimization strategies to drive rapid innovation and product development.
  
• Assist in design and assembly of form factors for advanced testing methods.
  
• Collate test data and work with a team of engineers and scientists to analyze key findings.
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, with experience in or an inclination towards energy storage systems.
    
  • Some experience with energy storage systems (such as elective courses or research projects) is a huge plus.
