Perception Engineer
Fully Remote
End of Year Contract with extensions
$75-$100/hr

THE ROLE

• Enhancing data quality through writing and implementing algorithms with existing cameras/camera data
• Collaborate with teams to effectively filter and enhance images beyond the scope of camera interface
• Improve the accuracy of camera imaging processes to better identify accuracy and reduce false positives/negatives
• Effectively communicate with key stakeholders to ensure project needs are met YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  A successful Perception/Computer Vision Engineer within this role will likely have the following skills and experience:
  • Educational background in Computer Vision, Machine Vision, Image Analysis, Image Processing or related is preferred
  • Previous experience writing algorithms for data image processing from depth-sensing cameras or stereo
  • Experience with OpenCV for image manipulation preferred but not required
  • Deep understanding of programming languages such as C++ or Modern C++ and Git for coding
  • Hands-on experience in LiDAR for image filtering and enhancement
