Job Description:

The QA Engineer develops, applies, and maintains quality standards for processing materials into finished products, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations. They analyze manufacturing or customer issues, recommend corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Client DetailsFounded on a legacy of premier products and service, this company provides mission-critical valves, pumps, and aftermarket services across the oil and gas, power generation, water and wastewater, and general industrial sectors. They excel in addressing specific industry needs with an unparalleled focus on quality and reliability.Description Primary responsibilities include:

  • Review customer orders, specifications, and engineering documentation to determine requirements.
  • Participate in customer and third-party audits (e.g., ASME, NUPIC).
  • Serve on the Material Review Board.
  • Develop and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods.
  • Approve supplier quality procedures and material test reports per ASME/ANSI standards.
  • Analyze reports and returned products, recommending corrective actions.
  • Interface with testing and measurement personnel.
  • Attend quality-related meetings with sales, manufacturing, assembly, and shipping, and resolve non-conformance issues.
  • Comply with company policies, including environmental health and safety.
  • Complete assigned projects.
  • Perform supplier evaluations and audits.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and safety/environmental regulations.Profile
    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) or other technical degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
    • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in technical Quality Assurance.
    • Working knowledge of codes and standards (e.g., ASME Section III, B16.34).
    • Understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, NDE, materials, testing, and welding.Job Offer
