more secure world. Manufacturing Engineers develop and improve
manufacturing processes by studying products and manufacturing
methods. They provide engineering and manufacturing support
expertise to enable on-time, lowest cost hardware delivery with
performance and reliability that exceed customer expectations. They
execute across all phases of a program including proposal capture,
process development, transition to production, and production
support. Manufacturing Engineers design, control, and improve the
manufacturing process and associated documentation/instructions
through a collaborative effort with the value stream team. You
would apply your experience and skills to implement improvements
that reduce cycle time and cost and improve productivity, while
maintaining a high level of safety in the manufacturing environment

You Will Do
- Work cross functionally with operations, maintenance, quality,
test, and design to implement robust processes.
- Review and validate recommendations regarding manufacturability
of existing and future products and advise modifications or
adaptations to address quality, customer, product, or productivity
constraints.
- Drive Continuous Improvement through process improvements to
improve cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk to assemblers, automate,
reduce costs (both direct and indirect) using CORE principles and
data driven decision making
- Provide real-time technical support to assemblers/operators and
inspectors.
- Participate on corrective action teams and support root
cause/corrective action investigations. Qualifications You Must
Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's with 2+ years prior relevant
experience, or an Advance Degree.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued
security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as
only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and
Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preference for
CREO/ProE) and/or simulation tools
- Experience/familiarity with Manufacturing/Enterprise Resource
Planning (MRP/ERP) tools and systems (ie PRISM/SAP)
- Experience/familiarity with Manufacturing Shop Floor Management
tools and systems (ie cMES)
- Experience/familiarity with Product Data Management tools and
systems (ie Windchill/PDM)
- Familiarity with military and industry standards
- Experience with conducting safety/ergonomic assessments
- Familiarity with standard material handling practices,
especially as they pertain to Electrostatic Discharge mitigation

- Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily
onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as
they are essential to the development of our products. The salary
range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range
provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience
levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer,
including but not limited to, the role, function and associated
responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location,
education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible
