Job Description:

Clean Harbors is seeking a seasoned Senior Asset Manager to lead our asset management team in the automotive sector. As a pivotal player in our Engineering & Maintenance department, this role focuses on maximizing the performance and value of our fleet of vehicles and equipment, crucial to delivering our environmental and industrial services. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for optimizing asset life cycles, enhancing operational effectiveness, and contributing to our commitment to environmental sustainability. Develop, implement, and refine asset management strategies in line with corporate goals and sustainability practices. Monitor and analyze asset performance data to ensure reliability and availability of automotive equipment and vehicles. Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Manage budgeting, procurement, and inventory of parts and services for vehicle maintenance and upgrades. Lead, mentor, and train the asset management team to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to best practices. Collaborate with other departments to align asset management strategies with overall business objectives. Report directly to executive management with regular updates on asset performance, risks, and optimization opportunities. Advanced knowledge of lifecycle asset management and predictive maintenance Proficiency in the latest industry-related software for data analytics, inventory management, and procurement Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Capability to work under pressure and make informed, critical decisions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (desirable) Experience with ERP systems, particularly those related to asset management and maintenance
