As a Facilities Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiencies and world-class comfort of our properties, ensuring that each guest's experience aligns with Marriott's standards of innovative service and quality hospitality. This role demands a proactive approach to building maintenance, a keen attention to detail, and the versatility to work under varying conditions. Perform regular preventive maintenance of all hotel facilities, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Respond to and resolve engineering service requests in a swift and professional manner. Contribute to the safety and security protocols of the hotel, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate with various departments to achieve optimal guest satisfaction while adhering to cost-efficiency. Document and report on daily checks, maintenance issues, and corrective actions taken. Strong understanding of engineering concepts, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is preferred. HVAC or electrical certification.
