Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Support Department, contributing to the seamless operation of multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Facilities Technician Location: Andover, MA Pay Range: $40/hr What’s the Job? Monitor operation of refrigeration, HVAC, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, VAV systems, and related equipment Respond immediately to system alarms, troubleshoot issues and take appropriate corrective action Log complaints, status updates, and follow-up actions in CMMS database Analyze system operations to determine causes of problems, make adjustments to mechanical systems and implement solutions to ensure optimal operation Perform preventive maintenance on building and critical system equipment What’s Needed? Maintain continuous operation of all HVAC-related building systems, including mechanical controls, building automation systems (BAS), electrical components, and temperature control systems. Execute preventive, corrective, and reliability maintenance procedures with Teammates and Vendor Partners. Conduct building rounds, maintain detailed logs and data sheets, ensuring all regulatory compliance and safety requirements are met. Enter detailed and explanatory comments into work order database, so actions can be documented and referenced. Provide customer interface and support, assisting with planning and scheduling optimization, and ensuring high-quality document management. What’s in it for me?
