Job Description:

Working under the direction of the Engineer - Senior Team Lead 4, will
be responsible for designing and developing MATLAB’s publishing
workflows and related UI support; developing MathWorks flagship products
for desktop and the web; participating in software design from early
design stages and through delivery; advancing scientific plots which can
be published to multiple data formats such as PDF or SVG; creating
publication workflows that produce quality graphics for customers to
share their results; designing, developing, and testing UI and
programmatic workflows for publishing complex data visualization;
developing applications using C++, Java, JavaScript, and MATLAB;
designing, developing, debugging and unit testing object oriented MATLAB
and C++ code; developing tools for exporting MATLAB plots and charts
that support a wide variety of output formats; and writing and reviewing
specifications for graphics features to present to colleagues.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering,
Mathematics or Information Systems and no experience.

OR

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering,
Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Mathematics or
Information Systems and five (5) years of experience in job offered or
five (5) years of experience exporting graphics tools to file formats.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise programming in C++, MATLAB, or Java.
• Demonstrated expertise in object oriented design, and applying
data structures, algorithms and design patterns to C++ programming.
• Demonstrated expertise in C++ programming using MS Visual Studio
and XCode IDEs.
