As part of the eCommerce Global Strategic Partner team you will be working with some of the leading merchants in the digital world and their partner ecosystems. As a Senior Strategic Partner Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to create long-lasting relationships with our strategic partners, help to shape the strategy of our team and measurable impact the growth of the company. You will focus on one of two of our most valuable ecosystems, renew existing partnerships and upscale potential opportunities. You cultivate these existing partnerships to make sure they can take full advantage of Worldpay's ever-growing suite of offerings and grow our penetration of customers. You possess exceptional relationship-building skills and are apt at using creativity to best represent our value proposition and meet the needs of our partners and customers. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your key partners. You possess excellent business planning skills and are able to develop a comprehensive strategy for growing your business. The Strategic Partnership Manager is an active, ambitious person who develops key account alliances and relationship programs designed to create fruitful sales opportunities. In order to expand our service to our key clients and partners, he/she will be adept and knowledgeable in Worldpay's offerings and a creative force in coming up with new approaches to established customers. You'll serve as the expert in end-to-end eCommerce platform partner ecosystem -- designing, developing and executing Worldpay's partner ecosystem, working with some of the key players, on a global and regional scale. This role will cover the scope from partner identification, partner nurture and partner optimization. Additionally you will identify the marketing activity required to grow your partnerships for the marketing team to execute. The Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Develops key account alliances and relationship programs designed to produce sales opportunities. Manages strategic partner alliances/partnerships and opportunity pipelines. Ensures the retention, growth and customer satisfaction of accounts. Evangelizes company products in conjunction with recruiting key alliances/partnerships. Evaluates program trends and provides analysis and recommendations to management. Works toward mutual goals, strategies and objectives to build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the alliance to senior leaders. Provides for financial analyses, long-range forecasting and analysis studies associated with potential alliances/partnerships. Monitors programs to assess the sales impact of offered solution(s) in the marketplace and the overall success of the alliance. Monitors competitor activity in accounts and implements strategies to maintain account ownership and block competitor advancement. Is distinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as record of success in sales. Viewed as an expert in the field. Has expert level knowledge of company products and services and may be tasked with introducing new products. Assigned to large, complex, high-visibility, strategic or tactically-important accounts. Qualifications: Typically requires 4+ years of partnership management experience. Knowledge of the payments industry Experience managing Tier I or enterprise level partnerships Understanding of eCommerce platforms and ERP systems is required In depth technical solutions understanding Experience managing software partnerships is highly desired Background in payment gateway or payment processing is preferred All the above duties and responsibilities are essential job functions for which reasonable accommodation will be made.
