Job Description:
Human Resources (HR) Managers at BCG take an innovative and
holistic approach to our people processes. We are looking for a
strategic and pragmatic, customer-centric HR champion to design,
implement, and communicate compensation plans that attract and
retain our team.
The North America (NAMR) Compensation Manager will drive
compensation strategy to ensure BCG has best-in-class compensation
programs to attract and retain top talent. You will help set base
pay ranges, provide consultative guidance and execution support on
compensation for new hires and promotes, administer bonus and
incentive programs, and provide governance on compensation-related
topics such as pay equity. You will work closely with internal
Human Resources teams, firm leadership, and external vendors and
oversee a "Center of Excellence" in the Compensation topic for
North America. YOU'RE GOOD AT Conducting benchmarking analysis and
developing ranges and pay structures. Managing complexity in
compensation for -20 geographies, > 100 roles, and -10 seniority
levels. Acting as a--trusted--advisor--to local HR and Recruiting
professionals,--providing support and salary recommendations based
on benchmarks--for increases and new hire compensation. Partnering
with Global Compensation counterparts to share benchmark data and
ensure alignment amongst business units. Leading regular
compensation increase processes (monthly for Consulting Team
members and bi-annual for Business Service Team members).
Coordinating with payroll and HRIS teams on all compensation
related topics and changes. Managing compensation related employee
communications and developing an approach to Total Rewards
statements. Developing communication materials for meetings with
Line Managers and all staff and communicating key ideas to local
contacts through kick-off meetings, training sessions, and
reference material. Budgeting for, consolidating, analyzing, and
reporting office spend to leadership, ensuring adherence to
guidelines, and identifying trends. Delivering presentations in
staff forums on compensation-related topics. Leveraging analysis on
market positioning and salary ranges to ensure competitiveness.
Assisting in the review and redesign of compensation programs, when
necessary. Providing scenario modeling and financial implications
to support business decisions. Resolving complex employee issues,
in partnership with NAMR leaders and key stakeholders. Partnering
with internal and external counsel to conduct pay equity analysis
and ensure BCG is abiding equal pay policies. Providing
compensation expertise during new HR system roll-out to ensure NAMR
Leadership is well supported during transition year. YOU BRING
(EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) Bachelor's degree required; advanced
degree and/or PHR/SPHR preferred 7 + years prior experience in HR
or compensation administration in a professional services or
corporate environment that is recognized for having best-in-class
approaches to human resources administration, and to administrative
and operational excellence Experience with compensation, analytics
systems and benchmarking surveys a plus (eg, Market Pay, Tableau,
Mercer, Radford) Familiarity with Workday preferred The ability to
perform successfully in a fast-paced, global, intellectually
intense, service-oriented environment, keeping with BCG's values
and culture An aptitude for managing and maintaining large sets of
data; using data to generate insights Maturity and seasoning that
engenders respect and trust from others; sound judgment,
professionalism, strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative

multiple issues and to respond quickly with an appropriate sense of
urgency YOU'LL WORK WITH The North America (NAMR) HR Network is
comprised of HR Generalist teams and key Centers of Excellence
including HR Risk and Compliance, US Benefits and Compensation, and
NAMR BST Talent Acquisition. As a member of the NAMR HR team, you
will partner with local and regional HR teams, subject matter
experts, and external vendors to develop programs and policies to
