The Associate Director of Patient Support Programs, Data Strategy is primarily responsible for developing EMD Serono Patient Support Programs' (PSP) data vision and strategy and ensure that effective and accurate data flows to the appropriate stakeholders. Enable end-to-end patient journey tracking and effective analytics to support data review and visualization across the portfolio. This individual will be a critical team member of the PSP team and will help with the operational management of the data capabilities for the PSP Organization This individual Serves as the Patient Services lead for iBOND (EMD Serono PSP CRM system based built on a Salesforce.com platform), including working with business partners throughout the organization on implementation, training and data reporting from iBOND. Overall, this position will develop and enhance EMD Serono reporting capabilities through special projects to influence data-driven decisions and partner with other cross functional departments to deliver on both internal and external analytics needs while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of all information. Your Role:

  • Accurately assesses patient services business issues faced by program strategy and operations teams to develop the appropriate data design and strategy to support them, providing superior analysis and reasoned solutions
  • Provides leadership for data and analytics efforts on behalf of patient services, deploying innovative reporting and methodologies that reflect best practices, in order to develop key strategic customer insights and data driven insights
  • Accurately assesses patient services business issues faced by program strategy and operations teams to develop the appropriate data design and strategy to support them, providing superior analysis and reasoned solutions
  • Responsible for owning the patient journey from a data perspective create, and manage the data collection process for the entire patient journey
  • Bring innovative ways to compliantly leverage available patient data to further identify better ways to support patient journey
  • Responsible for the flow of patient data across various sources and systems
  • Building the strategy of data collection, transfer and analytics for all PSP systems in collaboration with PSP Analytics, PSP hub operations, IT and Business Excellence
  • Identify opportunities to leverage patient outcomes create insights for better PSP performance and patient support
  • Strong understanding of SFDC based platforms and playing the role of the functional owner of the logic within the system
  • Analyzes need for data assets, based on resources and knowledge base within EMD Serono
  • Works with the AD of PSP Analytics to analyze need for data clean-up, based on resources and knowledge base within EMD Serono
  • Key technical activities will include:
  • Data requirements gathering
  • Data Quality testing, and issue / enhancements management
  • Data use and issue management
  • Data clean-up and change/enhancement management
  • Data flow to appropriate stakeholders
  • Patient services lead for iBOND, data reporting, and training, in close collaboration with IT
  • Develop the appropriate data design and strategy to support business issues
  • Help ensure that all collection, use and disclosure of data by EMD Serono and its vendors complies with applicable laws, regulations and EMD Serono policy
  • Performs 1st level investigation and resolution of issues, prioritizes, and does triaging/escalation when needed on all iBOND Data issues that are reported
  • Ongoing support for user acceptance testing all iBOND-related development projects
  • Guide, set and monitor business rules for matching customer records and the creation of the golden record Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications:
    • Experience in Patient Services, Market Access, and the Healthcare landscape--
    • Required 5+ years working experience in the Healthcare industry
    • Proven ability to effectively operate and influence cross-functionally while managing multiple projects and initiatives
    • Excellent project management skills, in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and priorities
    • Superior analytical skills with proficiency in a broad range of primary data evaluation methodologies
    • Minimum 4 years of experience focused on managing or utilizing customer data in roles such as data stewardship, customer data analytics, CRM.
    • Knowledgeable of customer and PHI data privacy regulations and best practices
    • Experience working with SFDC service cloud
    • Working knowledge of secondary healthcare data (e.g. prescription and patient databases)
    • Ability to lead teams without authority
    • Attention to detail and ability to translate complex information into succinct and impactful messages
    • Motivated by results, urgency and personal commitment.
    • Advanced office software skills, particularly MS Excel and Powerpoint.
    • Must be flexible in working hours, shift work and weekend shifts may be required. Limited travel required Preferred Qualifications:--
