12470857 GENERAL DESCRIPTION:-- The Sr. Director of Performance Management reports directly to the Assistant Vice President Dealer Services & Support Performance Management and will be responsible for building, developing, and managing a high performing team of performance managers dedicated to suite of products. This role is responsible for protecting $500 million of revenue annually and increasing revenue with upsells and harvests.-- Responsible for leading the Dealer.com client facing performance management team through multiple levels of management driving, inspiring and managing the team to focused on growth and retention of existing clients.-- The Senior Director, Performance Management is a highly collaborative role - working directly with clients and other client-facing teams (client support, Implementation & Training) to identify and understand primary business objectives and challenges ensuring client needs are addressed. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for long-term workforce and staffing of performance management and ensure availability of talent necessary to accomplish the business results. Attract, retain and develop talent. Implement appropriate team member development structure to drive behaviors and develop necessary skills.--
  • Responsible for the escalating business problems that are specific to client retention and utilization of our products. In addition, responsible for engaging with high profile or large clients on a frequently basis.--
  • Responsible for establishing and driving the goal of client retention, champion the team to build and maintain relationships with external clients and ensure customers' needs are the driving force behind priorities, decision and activities in order to ensure client retention and product utilization.--
  • Exceed goals and benchmarks for client retention and utilization, monitor and measure team's performance and drive continuous improvement. Gather feedback/input from team to constantly identify possible gaps/negative trends and drive improvement across behavior and people knowledge/development.--
  • Partner with Product leadership to provide client input for the in all related programs and company efforts to ensure client focus and advocacy throughout the organization.
  • Represent DSS as a thought leader, knowledgeable on the latest industry trends and competitive insight. Partner with marketing to host webinars, write blogs and participate in marketing campaigns.
  • Responsible for holding accountability across team by establishing, communication and driving client metrics aligned to the DSS vision and mission.
  • Develop deep relationships with key contacts internally across the organization and externally with dealerships within the portfolio to ensure client retention and growth.
  • Manage critical relationships with high profile dealer groups, specifically serving as an escalation point responsible for partnering with internal department to develop a resolution for the client and personally participating with client as appropriate.
  • Develops and executes strategic initiatives to achieve key business objectives that align closely with, and supports Cox Automotive/functional objectives that have direct impact on the achievement of greater business strategies. Owns and prioritize initiatives aligned to DSS vision and mission and based on client value. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:--
    • 12 years of experience in business management, senior client-facing role or account management. Experience in the automotive industry is a plus. Prior experience across Cox Automotive is a plus.
    • 7 years of experience in a leadership role with a demonstratable background in working in and with large teams across multiple business units through multiple layers of management.--
    • Proven ability to manage a workforce and create short and long-term staffing plans to ensure availability of the talent necessary to accomplish desired business results in an ambidextrous environment.--
    • Highly motivated, self-driven leader who thrives on delivering results through high accountability and respect.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact, lead and steer group discussion whilst maintaining control in more passionate exchanges. Proven ability to deliver customer-centric solutions.
    • Ability to maneuver comfortably through complex policy, process, and people related organizational dynamics. Proven ability to influence a wide range of audiences.--
    • Ability to travel to various client and partner locations and some weekend work required based on demand, such as NADA or other such weekend events. EDUCATION REQUIRED:--
      • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Account Management, Client Relations, or related discipline.
      • In Lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience for a total of 16 years of experience.-- KEY CUSTOMER INTERFACES:
        • This role will be the face of the company and key leader for escalations for client concerns. The Sr Director Performance Management will act as a client advocate within our company and manage critical client escalations.
