Job Description Raytheon Missiles and Defense Operations has an opportunity for a manufacturing professional. This position has been created to support the LTAMDS Radar Production program. This position will provide professionals with opportunities to grow their skills in operations management, technical operations, business communications, and leadership. This individual will be responsible for coordinating with the LTAMDS PMO, Manufacturing Work Centers, and other Cross Business Teams (CBT) to ensure successful on time integration of the material and labor efforts necessary to support manufacturing and contract schedules. Candidate will be responsible for all phases of Operations Management by working within an Integrated Product Team/Cross Business Team (IPT/CBT) environment to ensure effective execution of LTAMDS Production programs. Responsibilities of this role include coordinating the program schedules with the PMO and CBTs. This role requires daily interaction with other CBTs to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. Other focus areas of this position include cost, quality, delivery, safety, and identification/implementation of continuous improvement opportunities that are critical performance criteria for success. This position can be a Salary Grade G09 or Salary Grade G10 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position. Required Skills: * * Minimum of six (6) years of experience in Manufacturing or Operations Management working in an Integrated Product Team/Cross Business Team (IPT/CBT) environment or equivalent * U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date. Desired Skills: * * General knowledge of factory manufacturing * Related management experience * Production Control * Understanding of MRP and Shop Floor Management Tools (PRISM, VM) * Experience working in a Matrix Organization with multiple customers * Knowledge of aerospace /defense systems technology domains and manufacturing * Proven experience in developing manufacturing strategies and proposals * Proven ability to prepare and present reports and briefings * Excellent verbal / written communications and interpersonal skills * Experience in developing, supporting and maintaining strong relationships w/respective program IBT lead/team as well as end using customer * Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications * Demonstrated results focus and ability to execute * Communication skills: Negotiation, collaboration, creativity, presentation and communication (written and verbal), responsiveness, being open-minded, team player, facilitation * Proven EVMS (Earned Value Management System) experience * Experience with transition of programs from design to manufacturing Required Education (including Major): * Bachelor's degree (preferred fields but not limited to: Engineering; Operations Mgmt; Business Mgmt, Finance) OR Equivalent education and work experience 175463 Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
