A successful candidate will have experience multi-tasking in a high paced high expectation environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Four Seasons Hotel Boston is looking for an Assistant Director of People and Culture who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. The Assistant Director of People and Culture will be a member of a dynamic team delivering service to our employees to ensure we provide constructive feedback and keep them readily informed on all aspects of their employment . This position reports to the Director of People and Culture U.S. work authorization are required for this position.   • Oversee daily operations of the People and Culture function.
  • Coordinates all aspects of recruitment including job postings, interviews and job offers.
  • Collaborate with department heads on positions needed to ensure we are hiring the proper person for the needs of the department.--
  • Well versed in benefits administration to ensure our employees are well informed of all benefits that are offered to them and are educated to make the best decisions for themselves.
  • Timely follow up on hiring and termination processes.--
  • Manages financial functions such as benefits administration , PO's, supply ordering and billing processes.
  • Provides guidance and counsel to employees and managers as a trusted resource within the hotel community .
    • Champions the employee experience through organization of activities, communication tools and programming.
    • Proactively process all audits for work authorizations, certifications, licenses and ensure no lapses in requirements.--
    • Partner with department heads to ensure proper training and coaching is being administered in the operations.
    • Work with learning managers to ascertain all policies and procedures and ensure they are actively discussed and understood in the operations.--
    • Administer and maintain Workman's Compensation database and claims.--
    • Act as point of contact for all leaves. Understand the internal practices and policies as well as state regulations and laws.-- Preferred Qualifications and Skills
      • At least 5 years of experience as a Human Resources experience.
        • Verbal and written command of the English language (multi-lingual preferred)
        • Strong working knowledge of the Workday HRIS
        • Understanding of payroll applications, audits and processes in ADP.--
        • Excellent emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
        • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or hospitality business management What to Expect from Your Work Experience...You will
