The Role

Working closely with the EVP of Marketing, the Sr. Manager, Lifecycle Marketing will develop and execute best-in-class marketing strategies and initiatives focused on maximizing buyer activity and customer lifetime value by driving engagement and loyalty. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, and experience implementing customer segmentation and lifecycle communications. This individual will lead data-driven relationship management initiatives primarily via the email channel, but will also own mobile push and SMS.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test and optimize the bidder lifecycle, including behavioral triggered campaigns that introduce, engage and retain bidders.
  • Champion marketing personalization across the organization and manage the relationship with the Invaluable CDP
  • Drive loyalty and bidder retention, assist in rolling out a customer loyalty program for high frequency bidders
  • Drive A/B testing methodology in partnership with internal stakeholders to improve email effectiveness
  • Constant monitoring of bidder activity, develop best-in-class analysis and dashboards for measuring and sharing results across the organization on related KPIs
    Requirements
    • 4-6 years of hands-on relationship marketing strategy or related marketing experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related discipline
    • Professional experience in email marketing, consumer marketing, relationship marketing, or customer segmentation
    • Experience in an Ecommerce environment strongly preferred.
    • Experience working with Email Service Providers (Salesforce, ExactTarget, Responsys, etc)
    • Superior analytical skills and well versed in the use of data, content and technology to influence consumer behavior
    • Previous experience managing or launching customer loyalty programs is a plus
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, drive hard to completion and deliver effective results in a fast-paced environment while being under tight deadlines.
