Job Description:
Our mission is to make biology easier to engineer. -Ginkgo is
constructing, editing, and redesigning the living world in order to
answer the globe's growing challenges in health, energy, food,
materials, and more. Our mission to "make biology easier to
engineer" is poised to disrupt multiple industries by leveraging
our innovative data, automation, and scale capabilities in
biological engineering. -Ginkgo recently raised $1.6B going public
and a major use of proceeds is a much more aggressive merger and
acquisition (M&A) strategy. -To support this strategic
initiative, we're looking for a collaborative and resourceful
Director of Corporate Development to join our team and help drive
our M&A efforts. -Ginkgo is building the industry-standard
platform for synthetic biology across all end markets, and this
role will be focused on helping to accelerate our initiatives in
certain of those markets, strengthen our technology portfolio, and
continue to build a world-class team. Specifically, you'll oversee
deals from start to finish, helping source and drive diligence and
robust integration planning to ensure these deals drive lasting
