Schedule: Monday- Friday 8-5 PM (40 hours)Summary/Objective:
The objective of this role is to lead and execute programming within the DCU FinTech Innovation Center's framework. Our programming includes helping our founders and partners get smart, focused, and engaged in meaningful office hours and innovation projects. You must bring a clear understanding of startup and product development and a clear vision of how to evaluate, nurture, and mentor startups at scale.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Run our programming agenda and roadmap and adapt it to each new cohort.
  • Constantly iterate our go-to-market programming to develop best-in-class education, skills, and opportunities for our member fintech startups.
  • Maintain close relationships with Cohort members and alumni to identify their needs and support their growth.
  • Drive collaboration and engagement between our startups and key partners through hybrid meetings and digital platforms.
  • Represent the Center by speaking at or moderating external fintech events, conferences, panels, etc, as needed.
  • Execute on special projects and strategic initiatives as directed by the Managing Director to bolster the rigor of the program.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership and support for Center ecosystem development, events, marketing, inbound partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
  • Utilize strong project management skills to plan and manage multiple tactical projects at once, lead and execute projects to completion, and grow a team
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy and intuition while also working as a cooperative team member.

      Education and Experience Requirements:
      • University degree required. Relevant graduate degree preferred plus record of academic excellence.
      • Minimum 2 years' work experience as a Program Manager or equivalent and minimum 5 years' related, progressive experience.Additional Eligibility Requirements:

        • Management at a startup, fintech, innovation function, and/or equivalent.
        • A self-starter with strong startup and entrepreneurial experience
        • Mentorship, training, or teaching experience
        • Internal-external stakeholder management
        • Community development experience
          Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
          Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and to reach with hands and arms.
          Some travel expected within the greater Boston area.
