measurable impact in combating climate change.The HR/Payroll
Manager reports to the Director of Human Resources and executes
human resources initiatives and operations for the Company. The
Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing and supervising the
payroll functions, ensuring compliance and accuracy, along with
other areas of the human resources function.Roles and
Responsibilities:
Implements maintains, and reviews
payroll processing systems to ensure accuracy of payroll, including
but not limited to salaries, benefits, taxes, and other
deductionsReviews, identifies and recommends updates to payroll
processes for implementationEnsures compliance with federal, state,
and local payroll, wage, and hour lawsAudits payroll process on a
regular basisAssists in the facilitation of weekly performance
reviewsPerforms backup duties relating to recruiting, employee
relations, participation in networking conferences, etc.Under the
direction of the Director of Human Resources, ensures Company HR
policies are enforced and updated to reflect current marketplace
trends and demandsAlongside the Director of Human Resources,
researches, develops, and implements competitive compensation,
benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive
programsMaintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best
practices in employment law, human resources, and talent
management. Ensures compliance with employment, benefits,
insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements
across all states where the Company has operationsPerforms other
duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in a
related field required5-8 years of human resource experience
including payroll processingExperience working in a fast-paced
environment with talent acquisition needs at all levelsPreferred
Qualifications
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills A high
emotional IQ is necessaryThorough knowledge of employment-related
laws and regulationsExcellent interpersonal and conflict resolution
skillsExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and
problem-solving skillsKnowledge of and experience with varied human
