Job Description:

MerGo Property Management is seeking a self starter, critical thinker, detail oriented, process driven, and proactive Operations Property Manager to oversee and manage our growing team. You will be responsible for the oversight and management of our office staff and our dynamic portfolio of residential apartments in multifamily properties and individual condo units throughout the Boston metro area. The Property Manager will be dedicated to maintaining a harmonious living environment for current and future tenants by resolving resident issues in a timely and satisfactory manner, and ensuring property owner satisfaction. MerGo runs its properties with a key focus on hospitality, and you must bring a high level of professionalism to foster positive relationships with tenants and clients.

Essential responsibilities include but not limited to:

* Reviewing maintenance requests with the operations team employing deductive reasoning to get the job completed correctly, on time, and within the agreed budget
* Overseeing and troubleshooting comprehensive building maintenance including individual unit and common area inspections, general property issues, and repairs
* Establishing relationships with current and new vendors for repairs/improvements and participating in performance oversight of all vendors who perform contract services
* Analyzing current building conditions to determine the need for repairs and improvements
* Overseeing bid process for major building improvements and formally presenting such information to clients
* Facilitating tenant move-in and move-out
* Time split between working in the office and physically viewing properties

You are:

* A self-initiator who is process and execution-driven with a resourceful, strategic mindset
* Project management-oriented - highly organized and able to work on multiple projects, deadlines, and issues simultaneously without getting distracted or losing focus
* People-focused with a very high EQ who is curious, honest, and trustworthy with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Able to handle stressful and urgent situations calmly and strategically
* Knowledgeable and willing to learn about property systems, equipment, plumbing, heating, electrical, and common property issues

Requirements:

* 4+ years experience in property management (negotiable if you are willing to learn and take classes on the local laws, ordinances, and learn about general property issues)
* Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to arrive at properties in a timely manner as needed
* Able to understand maintenance issue and repairs and employ deductive reasoning to find answers to problems

Preferred:

* A background in operations management in property management with a hospitality focus
* Able to learn new technology platforms as needed

Work Remotely

* Partial in office and partial at properties in Boston

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
