You are a technically-strong, marketing-savvy and collaborative product leader who will own the platform capabilities that power merchandising, personalization, and other customer experience (CX) tech across our products. You'll create an "enablement vision", partnering closely with Growth, eCommerce, and Marketing teams to understand their needs, our technical capabilities and external industry trends to create a compelling and impactful roadmap. You will ensure our overall 'stack' of in-house and 3rd party marketing/CX technologies can work together/integrate successfully with an eye on overall architectural considerations to ensure data is an asset for us. This is a high leverage role and you'll get to jump into a fast-paced, data-driven environment to generate material impact to the business.Sound exciting? Let's talk!You Will:

  • Drive the long-term strategy, business goals, and priorities for the Growth & MarTech platform roadmap.
  • Build deep empathy for ezCater customers and your internal stakeholders.
  • Lead product initiatives across a cross-functional team including Engineering, Product, Marketing and Data.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop coordinated tactics and strategies related to how we develop our platform strategy while ensuring we achieve shorter term business goals.
  • Work closely with platform engineering and other stakeholders across all stages of the product development or selection process including research, requirements definition, implementation/release planning and product delivery.
  • Serve as the Product team subject matter expert on platform components, MarTech, Customer Experience (CX) Tech, data systems, and processes.
  • Define and monitor the ongoing metrics that define success.
  • Have fun building meaningful software with awesome people.> When You Start:
    • By Day 30 you will:
    • Understand the needs of your internal tech and product customers, and start to develop a strong sense of empathy for them.
    • Lead the cross-functional Martech Platform Team and partner with all members to understand the ins and outs of the technology stack and platform today to begin documentation of the cross-functional Martech Capabilities roadmap, spanning in-house tech and vendor usage.
    • Be providing immediate and early value, organizing existing work, asking good questions, and figuring out what you need to learn to become more effective.
    • Have internalized the key metrics for your domain and key analytics and experimentation tools.
    • Have internalized the company direction, and early decisions around target customer / market focus.
    • By day 60 you will:
    • Have a solid working relationship established with the marketing, engineering, and data team members as well as your product peers.
    • Develop a point of view on which existing in-house services and external vendors to keep vs. re-evaluate to ensure we have the right underlying connection piping to make MarTech and product teams maximally effective.
    • Develop a point of view on existing internal services and external vendors used by the product customers to keep vs. re-evaluate.
    • Determine how best to evolve the integration of our martech stack, highlighting gaps or risks in the setup.
    • Have a strong understanding of ezCater's core business interactions, how our platform technology serves these today, and where the opportunities are for platform to drive innovation and efficiency.
    • Generate the product direction with stakeholder buy-in.
    • By day 90 you will:
    • Be a driving force within the company, leading across the business to drive your compelling enablement vision and meaningful returns.
    • Lead capabilities roadmap generation and support execution in the cross-functional Martech Platform team and Growth Platform team, independently without manager support.> You Have:
      • 7+ years product management or equivalent work experience.
      • MarTech domain expertise.
      • Goal orientation and demonstrated record collaborating with engineering teams to deliver effective platform product.
      • A knack for managing schedules, dependencies, and priorities to achieve goals.
      • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills; you're happy and capable partnering with team members, managing expectations, and bringing your partners along on the product journey.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to convey information at the right level for the right audience.
      • Analytical ability, comfortable working with and manipulating data, building hypotheses, and identifying high leverage opportunities.
      • A flexible mindset that is open to change and new information. You're first to understand when team behaviors and work methods need to adapt to new information.
      • Entrepreneurial spirit; a self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment, deals well with ambiguity and focuses on driving impact.
      • A sharp mind, a soft heart and a large funny bone.The national cash compensation range for this role is: $167,000 - $212,000* per year*Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above.
