Job Description:

The Role: We are seeking a Manager, Deal Desk to assist our rapidly growing sales team. The incumbent will lead a global team of deal desk analysts, develop its charter, reduce friction in the sales process, and drive process automation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Legal, and Product Management, to streamline non-standard deals. The deal desk team is responsible for opportunity data management and also serves as a pricing steward. If you find this interesting and enjoy challenging the status quo, come join us!
Key responsibilities - Manager, Deal Desk:


  • Manage all aspects of a deal desk support while focusing on minimizing sales cycle times and optimizing revenue and profitability
  • Drive deal efficiency and compliance to align with internal company policies while meeting customer requirements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to sales executives and their teams on pricing, product configuration, business terms, and deal strategy to assist the sales effort
  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, and Product Management to ensure smooth processing of non-standard deals
  • Partner with Finance to review and reconcile ARR and all of its components
  • Build, own and enhance pricing tools and price lists in partnership with Sales, Finance, Legal and Product Management
  • Develop & deliver sales training collateral (e.g. product & pricing FAQs, new-hire pricing training, pricing and packaging migration, etc.) and serve as a subject matter expert on continuous improvement of deal desk policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance to sales on pricing, revenue and contracts in the deal making process

    Qualifications - Manager, Deal Desk:

    • Minimum 5 years experience in sales operations, business operations or finance
    • Proficient in SFDC and SFDC CPQ
    • Experience in people management
    • Experience defining solution requirements and complex workflows required
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent eye for details
    • Knowledgeable in SaaS revenue recognition principles
    • Strong analytical skills along with ability to demonstrate practical judgment in sophisticated situations
