A career in Risk Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation. You'll focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwC's regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk. Our Operations team helps internal leaders validate and improve the reliability and effectiveness of business operations. You'll help the team with issues related to business continuity, environmental risk, crisis management, process systems and risks associated with operations, health and safety and technology.

The Senior Manager role is part of the Global Independence function within Global Risk

Management. The Senior Manager leads various project management activities as part of the Global Independence function, including financial management of strategic projects, operations and project reporting across the ecosystem.

* Overseeing financial management for projects/programs within assigned portfolios/focus areas and be responsible for providing financial reporting to leaders and key stakeholders to ensure all understand where the project is within the development process and budget;
* Overseeing issues/risk management, remediation plans, and escalations across territories, Independence leaders and key stakeholders for projects/programs within assigned portfolios/focus areas and be responsible for providing management direction in these areas and establishing clear communication, consideration of all factors, generation of solution alternatives, and defined actionable plans that are implemented;
* Preparing and delivering regular, effective communications to ensure key stakeholders are adequately apprised of statuses, successes, risks and issues;
* Building and Sustaining Relationships, Change Agility, Adapting to change quickly and multi-tasking;
* Displaying high levels of motivation and and detail-oriented focus;
* Leading a team working with territory independence professionals across the network;
* Understanding of global regulatory requirements, particularly in the area of personal independence compliance;
* Exhibiting leadership traits by instilling culture of execution, operational excellence, accountability, and continuous learning;
* Leveraging tools and techniques for research, analysis, and problem solving including interpreting data and sharing common trends, potential issues/risks and opportunities;
* Focusing on the Client, Demonstrating Courage and Integrity;
* Consulting territories on information lifecycle topics regarding the creation, use, archiving, retention and disposal of data;
* Communicating effectively with impact and influencing skills;
* Acquiring and applying technical expertise;
* Developing self and others through coaching, contributing to team success, and continuously learning and sharing knowledge;
* Understanding of risk management in professional services environment;
* Leading and motivating individuals within a fast-paced environment; and,
* Applying analytical and critical thinking skills.
