Job Description:
The primary focus of our client is on the development of
offshore wind energy projects along the East Coast of the United
States. They are currently working on a number of key projects, one
of which involves a wind farm proposal that has the potential to
produce up to 2000 MW of clean energy. This project would be
situated in federal waters and would comprise more than 100 wind
turbines.
Alongside the proposed wind farm, our client is also engaged in
conducting environmental impact assessments and community outreach
initiatives. They are fully dedicated to collaborating with local
communities and stakeholders to ensure that their projects are
developed in a sustainable and socially responsible manner.

Job Description:
Are you an experienced contract and procurement manager with a
passion for the offshore wind industry?
Do you have in-depth knowledge of the offshore wind sector or the
US Offshore sector and experience negotiating offshore and/or
onshore substation EPC, and EPCI contracts related to offshore wind
projects?
If so, our client wants you to join their team who are currently
working on a number of key projects, one of which involves a wind
farm proposal that has the potential to produce up to 2000 MW of
clean energy
In this role, you will be responsible for managing, negotiating,
and supporting the administration of contracts for our offshore
wind projects. You will lead the issuance of request-for-proposals
(RFPs) related to procuring technologies/equipment and related
services, negotiate procurement contracts, and lead the commercial
negotiation for tenders with the Most Economically Advantageous
approach.
You will also be responsible for developing the procurement
strategy and preparing tender packages for each procurement need.
You will work closely with our technical and development teams to
develop specifications and scopes with a contract approach,
ensuring clear deliverables and deadlines.
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years
of experience in negotiations (contractual & commercial) with at
least 2 years of experience in negotiating HVDC substations EPCI
(100M$+ contracts). You must also have sound knowledge of the
procurement process and understanding of claim prevention, as well
as team management and the development of a procurement strategy
for tenders.
In addition, you must have excellent interpersonal and
communication skills, both oral and written, and be able to work
successfully with multiple people from all types of fields of
expertise in a high-paced JV environment. You should have proven
organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple
concurrent projects and track progress and needs of each project
and provide accurate and timely updates.

Desired Skills and Experience
* 5+ years of experience managing contracts and preparing &
negotiating tenders (1 year experience in offshore).
* 2 years of experience in the negotiation of offshore and/or
onshore substation contracts.
* Demonstrates ability to work successfully with multiple people
from all types of fields of expertise in a high-paced JV
environment.
* Experience with ERP Systems, including project cost
reporting.
* High level ability to manage multiple contractor relationships
simultaneously.
* Pproven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple
concurrent projects and track progress and needs of each project
and provide accurate and timely updates.
* Experience in the claim management of major EPC, EPCI
contracts.
* Good reporting skills
* Outstanding interpersonal oral and written communication skills
required.
