possible.We seek a Manager, Product Management, GMAC Tours to help
define and drive GMAC Tours ongoing product strategy to ensure the
products remain innovative, competitive and best-in-class. GMAC
Tours products include in-person and virtual engagement
opportunities that help business schools and candidates make
personal connections.The Impact You Will HaveYou will heavily
collaborate with many areas of the organization, including working
with GMAC Tours Events, Marketing and Sales teams as well as GMAC's
Technology and Central Marketing teams to integrate systems and the
Market Development teams to help drive revenue.Some Key Things You
Will Be Doing
- Support the development of GMAC Tours product roadmap based on
competitive industry capability analysis and business
analysis.
- Serve as primary liaison with the Technology team, creating
requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business flow
diagrams, ensuring requirements are fully understood and
implementation plans match expectations.
- Prioritize and identify enhancements, working closely with the
Technology team to ensure the detailed and prioritized roadmap is
met; Own user acceptance testing to ensure developed products match
the requirements; Collaborate on user testing and other research
efforts to understand customer needs, product gaps, and translate
into requirements; Facilitate the creation and maintenance of
product documentation.
- Enhance the user experience across all digital touch points by
analyzing data and providing insights and recommendations to boost
user engagement and better optimize GMAC's digital eco-system to
achieve Tour related goals.
- Lead the development of product performance reports and data
visualization outputs for internal and external audiences including
analysis and insights to improve product performance and
utilization.
- Drive go-to-market initiatives for product updates and
enhancements; Collaborate with accounts team on planning, training,
and commercial execution; Drive the strategy behind B2B marketing
plans to support GMAC Tours business goals, including email
campaigns, webinars, and updated sales collateral/training
materials.
- Serve as Tour Leader and main point of contact for certain
domestic and international events, to include:
- Assist with communications to schools;
- Coordinate production and organization of tour related
materials;
- Develop and update tour itinerary;
- Manage set up of event and coordinated onsite
registration;
- Work closely with Event Team on all logistics; and
- Travel to event location and serve as onsite point of
contact.What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in related field and/or certification; Or
equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
- 4 years' experience in related field.
- Experience working with product lines in a global marketplace
with B2B and B2C customers.
- Familiarity with agile product development methodology,
including writing product requirements, user stories, acceptance
criteria, and understanding other development efforts related to
the product lifecycle.
- Technical aptitude with ability to trouble shoot regarding
product reliability issues.
- Experience with market research projects and data
analysis.
- Strong project management skills and understanding how to
manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex
environment.
- Exceptional organizational, project planning, and time
management skills.
- Authority to prioritize work to resolve operational or
departmental issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a
team setting, and across external and internal stakeholder
groups.
- Ability to think critically and take initiative; harbor a
"healthy level of skepticism" in order to gain deeper understanding
of the product and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong
attention to detail, with a keen focus on quality.
- Ability to work in-office and remotely according to GMAC's
hybrid work environment.
- Ability to travel up to 20% worldwide, including up to 2-3
