3236142 ) GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: Summarize the nature

the direction of the Program Manager and Executive Director, the
Project Manager for the Regional Disaster Health Response System
will provide administrative and project management for key
initiatives within the MA/Region 1 Regional Disaster Health
Response (RDHRS) System program. This work includes supporting the
development and completion of initiatives set forth by the
leadership team. Responsibilities will include project management,
stakeholder and/or collaborating partner engagement and management,
meeting management and facilitation, process and workflow
definition, and data analysis and reporting. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: In order of importance, list essential areas of

- Manages multiple aspects within the RDHRS program and assumes
leadership responsibility for all assigned projects
simultaneously.
- Coordinates a diverse group of stakeholders and collaborating
partners to set goals for specific project activities and designs,
implements and oversees processes to ensure key tasks are completed
in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Attends all relevant RDHRS meetings; contributes ideas and
monitors the planning process as required.
- Creates and manages project plans and monitors adherence to
timelines.
- Anticipates potential delays to projects and takes appropriate
mitigation steps.
- Manages complex status reporting process for project plans and
timelines.
- Escalates identified delays and/or challenges with specific
projects as necessary to Program Manager and Executive Director to
ensure steps towards remediation are taken.
- Assists the Program Manager with monitoring overall RDHRS
program activities and identifies potential systems and operational
problems that may hinder progress towards program goals and
activities and proposes solutions.
- Provides administrative support to RDHRS technical advisors,
including managing meeting schedules, project workplans,
presentations, and other administrative tasks as required.
- Supports outreach, engagement, and member relationship building
with relevant collaborating organizations, and with community and
statewide/regional partners.
- Contributes to implementation research and drafting of
manuscripts for publication related to RDHRS program
activities.
- Prepares RDHRS quarterly reports, in collaboration with Program
Manager. Readiness Metrics - -
- Manages and guides development of readiness metrics, including:

- Participate in ongoing working group meetings related to
development and revision of readiness metrics scorecards and a
response readiness designation program manual -
- Coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to refine and validate
metrics with external partners in Region 1 and other RDHRS sites

- Track related project timelines and goals and anticipate
potential barriers - RDHRS Operations -
- Supports continued development and expansion of RDHRS
operational capacity -
- Serves as Duty Officer for Region 1 RDHRS to provide 24/7
coverage for RDHRS subject matter expertise in support of state,
federal, and regional partners -
- When RDHRS Response Center is activated, participates in
response as assigned - SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: This section

Command System (HICS) preferred. Completion of ICS/NIMS 100, 200,
700 and 800 courses, before or upon hire.

- Experience with research preferred, particularly related to IRB
