Job Description:
Buildings in our beautiful cities, where we live and work, are
producing 40% of the CO2 going into our atmosphere contributing to
global warming. We need to HEAT, VENTILATE, AIR CONDITION our
buildings 24/7. Most of the energy consumed in a building is for
our comfort and 50% of it is wasted!!! This is because buildings
have little to no technology to control this.Parity Inc. is a
software as a service (SaaS) designed to reduce energy waste from
buildings!! Using AI, Parity is able to predict the amount of
energy needed ahead of time to operate a building to meet its
residents' demand and adapt the building's systems and machinery in
real time. We save our customers and building operators:
- Time by automating setpoint adjustments and through our mobile
platform that additionally provides early alerting services when
problems occur.
- Money. Parity typically contractually guarantees the savings
that we expect to deliver our customers. We provide quarterly and
annual energy savings reports.
- Emissions by providing sustained reductions in the carbon
footprints of the buildings we work with.THE ROLE:We are looking
for an energetic and motivated Senior Account Manager ready to
expand their sales career at the intersection of the property
technology space and the quickly growing energy efficiency
industry. This individual will be focused on leading Parity's
expansion into the greater Boston area market. The primary
objective will be to increase the company's footprint with large
residential condominium (condo) and rental properties in the
greater Boston area market. This individual will be presenting
Parity at all levels of the sales process and will be responsible
for conducting key sales activities including; prospecting,
origination, proposal generation, customer facing presentation and
deal closing. We are looking for an individual who is excited to
work in tech, AI and has a passion for reducing CO2 emissions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Selling a no-upfront cost, guaranteed solution for real estate
operators to manage their energy consumption, reduce their carbon
footprint, maintain occupant comfort and limit negative exposure to
BERDO and other energy related local regulations.
- Managing the sales process from start to finish
- Maintaining a deep understanding of relevant energy and real
estate related policies, programs and market conditions in the
Boston metro area.
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of Parity's service
offerings and value proposition
- Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Conducting sales presentations to key personnel including
property managers, board members and other consultants
- Effectively positioning Parity's unique value proposition
utilizing financial metrics consultative customer engagement,
market positioning, domain expertise and other means
- Working closing with Parity's engineers to develop
proposals
- Developing and maintaining a sales pipeline through cold
calling, networking and other means
- Participating in industry events to represent Parity and grow
the company's presence in the market
- Contributing to the ongoing development of Parity's service
offerings, company strategy and market positioning
- Coordinating with the marketing team on campaigns and other
demand generation activities
- Establishing partnerships that enhance business development
efforts
- Promoting and expanding Parity's brand awareness in the Boston
market
- Working closely with our marketing team to develop collateral
and outreach campaigns
- Meeting and exceeding sales goalsQUALIFICATIONS:
- Passion for transformative technology and clean energy
- 5+ years of professional sales experience
- Experience in the Boston market
- Located within driving distance of downtown Boston
- Background in HVAC, building automation, energy systems or real
estate
- Proven track record of being a top sales performer
- Proven experience closing new business using strategic
value-based selling
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation
skills
