Sr. Project Manager
Rate: $55/60/hr on C2C
Duration: 12 months to start, could extend 6 months beyond
Visa Status: Candidate must be legal to work within the US for the duration of the assignment
Location: Boston, MA. HYBRID, must be on-site 3 days a week.
Industry: Investment Banking, candidate must have regulatory experience

We are seeking an experienced project manager to oversee a year-long project focused on the US T+1 regulatory changes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing work streams, identifying issues, and working through roadblocks. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and presentation skills, and be able to work effectively with a small PMO team and other stakeholders across multiple teams.
Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Oversee work streams, stay on top of status, identify issues, and work through roadblocks
  
• Work with SMEs directly in a matrix type of relationship
  
• Be responsible for reporting out status on a senior level
  
• Prepare updates for steering group meetings
  
• Identify risks and issues and escalate them as needed
  
• Create timelines and time frames
  
• Ensure the project is moving forward
  
  
  Requirements/Must Haves:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Experience in project management within financial services, can be within asset management, or back-office provider
    
  • Strong understanding of regulatory implementation and how it impacts trades, cash, and funds are setup
    
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
    
  • Must have experience as a project manager, not someone primarily working as a business analyst
    
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders virtually or in a matrix-type relationship
    
  • Ability to work in a small PMO team
    
  • Ability to be in the office three days a week
    
  • Experience in leading efforts in the past
    
  • Must be able to own and drive the project forward
