Welcome to Workday Engineering Platforms and Experiences (EPX) Group! We are a multi-functional team of highly skilled individuals collaborating to design and develop innovative solutions to Workday's most complex problems while improving the way our engineers work.

About the Role

We are looking for a Sr Manager, Technical Program Management to define, establish and maintain governance in the SDLC. You will be part of a globally distributed engineering team responsible for the building and supporting standardized technologies for engineering environments, engineering tools and CI/CD lifecycle management, developer experiences, and more. The role will define, manage and improve the software best practices of Workday and all that is quality in the SDLC, software developer lifecycle ensuring the experiences of our engineers is stable, performant, highly available and aligned with standard processes.

About You

You are passionate about developing high quality, scalable enterprise solutions. You have a passion for DevOps and operational excellence, improving processes and accelerating development by architecting and innovating configurable, scalable software solutions with sustainable and high performing and low maintenance footprints. You are not afraid to ask clarifying questions when things are ambiguous or challenge the norm with data and insights. You believe quality is a shift-left activity with dashboards and metrics driving decisions and measuring success. You are approachable and steadfast in the pursuit of quality in the software engineering lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3- 5+ years of technical program management experience, preferably in IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS.
  • 3- 5+ years of people leadership experience
  • 3- 5+ years of experience in SDLC Quality & Governance Other Qualifications
    • Demonstrated technical expertise in at least two of the following domains: CICD, SDLC lifecycle management, engineering best practices, IT Compliance
    • Self starter with exceptional influencing skills.
    • Able to work independently in highly ambiguous environments, with technical and business groups internally and externally, change agent
    • Strong understanding of a wide variety of SDLC technologies relating to: Audit and Monitoring, Risk Response & Recovery, vulnerability management, Computer Operations Security, cloud security, Multi-Factor Authentication, Passwordless Authentication
    • Knowledge of application risk management frameworks and compliance practices
    • Strong Application experience SDLC Modeling, Code Reviews, Vulnerability Assessment and API management, SDLC best practices
