Job Description:

The Unit Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day shift operations and activities of the venue, while focusing on guest experience and support of the venue team. Ensures all Lucky Strike standards, policies and procedures are adhered to. Maintains personal integrity by abiding to and supporting Lucky Strike's Mission Statement and Core Values principals through leadership, positive attitude and with joyful energy.

Essential Responsibilities:
The Unit Manager's duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
People

• Adheres to and maintains Lucky Strike's training procedures and standards
• Directly manages, develops and coaches the Hourly FOH Supervisor (if applicable), FOH hourly employees, and Mechanic and has the ability to recognize individual's strengths and weaknesses
• Oversees the recruitment and hiring of hourly staff, in conjunction with the General Manager
• Ensures that all team members are successfully trained
• Facilitates proper communication between all departments; provides proper coaching and counseling to the team
• Ensures a positive and creative work environment for all team members and management
• Provides coordination (direction, motivation and coaching) to ensure proper levels of service are provided to guests
• Ensures impeccable guest experience and satisfaction
• Ensures that all product meets Lucky Strike high quality standards and guest expectations
• Enforces responsible alcohol service management, practices and training Profitability
  The Unit Manager supports the General Manager and the AGM (if applicable) in venue financial management as it pertains to the following:
  • Ensures that venue budgetary goals are achieved
  • Works in conjunction with the GM/AGM to build business through community involvement, marketing and networking
  • Ensures that Food and Beverage COGs, controllable expenses and labor costs are within budgetary guidelines
  • Monitors labor cost and team member scheduling on a pre-shift basis according to budgetary goals, while maintaining appropriate staffing levels to ensure quality guest experience
  • Produces all financial reporting accurately and timely, through a manner that meets Lucky Strike's accounting standards Venue Vibe and Ambience
    • Responsible for the upkeep of the physical elements and atmosphere of the venue (i.e. music, lighting, temperature, cleanliness, line of sight, repair & maintenance of the "FFE" - furniture, fixtures, and equipment)
    • Ensures team and guest safety, while maintaining an exciting environment with joyful energy
    • Ensures that Standard Operating Procedures are upheld in accordance to Lucky Strike standards
    • Ensures that all Lucky Strike marketing and promotional programs are implemented and executed to Company standards
    • Ensures that venue inspections are at, or above company standards; substandard items are addressed and corrected in a timely manner Leadership Qualities

      • Displays an entrepreneurial spirit/creativity Requirements
        • Minimum 2 years management experience in the Hospitality and/or Entertainment industry
        • Equivalent combination of the education and experience
        • Base knowledge of Legal and HR issues consistent with the hospitality industry (Federal, state and local laws regarding liquor, labor and health codes/statutes)
        • Technologically and computer savvy
