Guardian is quickly moving into manufacturing and needs someone capable of supporting our rapid transition and growth of our manufacturing systems. If this interests you, and your skills and experiences are a good fit, let's talk.We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the development and deployment of Guardian's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Aftermarket functions. This includes working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers to combine business requirements, manufacturing needs and software capabilities into a cohesive and optimized tool set aligned with systems road maps. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards and right sizing the Guardian Quality Management System to the business for a given time and state. -Key Responsibilities: -

Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing execution systems, processes, and habits to ensure efficient and safe production operations as we move towards productionCreate and maintain business system requirements, communicate them and implement processes, habits, standards and systems to address themDocument Guardians system roadmap from humble beginnings to eVTOL juggernaut -Work cross functionally to understand what systems exist, then create and implement quality and manufacturing systems optimized for business efficiencyDevelop production metrics to measure the effectiveness of manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvementCollaborate with the team to ensure that processes are properly documented, standardized, and followedTrain and mentor the team on new processes, equipment, and technologiesSupport the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the organizationParticipate in cross-functional teams to support new product introductions, process improvements, and other key initiativesEnsure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements -Requirements: -
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field or relevant experienceWorking knowledge of manufacturing safety and quality standards and processes5+ years of experience in manufacturing system management and implementation, preferably in a startup or R&D environmentStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systemsHigh level of knowledge of high and low volume PLM, ERP and MES systemsAftermarket experience in a hardware or software operations businessExperience with implementing manufacturing processes, systems or quality from the ground upHave implemented Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies into a manufacturing businessExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teamsStrong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyWillingness to work in a hands-on environment and to spend time on the production floor as needed -If you are a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for manufacturing engineering and process improvement, and are excited to help build and operationalize a new business from the ground up, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization.Benefits:Competitive salary, stock options, free company lunch every day, solid benefits (health, vision, dental, short/long term disability, life insurance, 401k), great coworkers, and the opportunity to build and use many large flying things. -Powered by JazzHR
