Job Description:We are looking for a Marketing Director to join our Product Growth and Client Development team to support the Financial Foundations business. Financial Foundations strives to help our clients with everyday financial concerns and provides the tools and education in a personalized way to meet their individual needs. The role will report to the Vice President of Product Marketing and Client Development
The Role
This role is part of the Product Marketing organization within Workplace Investing.\u00A0This team is responsible for the strategic marketing and lead gen efforts for 13 products, services & offerings including health benefits, Defined Benefits, Retirement Income, Personalized Planning & Advice, Student Debt, Workplace Giving, the first ever Digital Asset Account, Asset Management and our newest an API Platform that allows us to connect to clients and partners, seamlessly, quickly and securely. You will be part of a team that thrives on driving growth through digital channels, supporting one another in learning and best practices to grow the overall Workplace Investing business.Our passion is in advancing the growth of these products through meaningful B2B2C customer experiences.
As the B2B Marketing Director you will focus on Financial Foundations awareness and adoption strategies, blending product and marketing expertise to drive the offering s value proposition and story, and help connect that story to the overall Workplace Investing value proposition.
You will use a continuous-learning mindset to understand the intricacies of the Financial Foundations offering and become a subject matter expert for positioning and promoting Financial Foundations to internal partners and Plan Sponsor clients and prospects. You will use outstanding storytelling capabilities to demonstrate how Fidelity s tools and solutions can improve the financial outcomes of employees. You will partner closely with a wide network of internal partners to advance the Financial Foundations experiences and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities\u00A0

  • Crafting the B2B Strategic Product Marketing plan with the Go to Market Squad Lead for Financial Foundations.
  • Work with the B2C team to build the B2B2C strategy.
  • Partner with sales, product, and relationship management teams to develop the positioning to craft collateral and marketing messages that best position Financial Foundations to employers.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the Financial Foundations offering to speak knowledgably to senior team members.
  • Work with the Client Engagement team to craft a compelling Financial Foundations story using data and ensure this story integrates with the Engaging Employee experience messaging and framework.
  • Lead the strategy and execution for all go-to-market product launches
  • Identify, analyze, and report out on success metrics and quickly pivot based on results.The Expertise and Skills You Bring
    • Bachelor s degree: MBA preferred.
    • 10+ years successfully developing and driving marketing initiatives and campaigns with large cross-functional teams.
    • A digital-first, data-driven approach, and desire to leverage data and insights to drive marketing strategy.
    • Be the marketing SME across all functional teams; consult on/shape business partner questions/hypotheses and advise on potential marketing efforts and develop a comprehensive digital-first marketing plan.
    • Develop the marketing strategy by understanding the competitive market, the evolving financial environment, and the pending legislation that will impact the product.
    • Measurement / reporting - optimize awareness and engagement to drive desired customer and business outcomes and refine strategy based on findings.
    • Passion for marketing and desire to assess emerging marketing trends as part of an ongoing learning agenda.
    • Ability to lead multiple projects at once with a superior level of detail orientation; bias for action and desire to be responsible for the outcome.
    • Strong professional presence with excellent written/verbal communication skills, including meeting facilitation, and the ability to create compelling support materials.
    • Exemplifies leadership and persistence while navigating various platforms and channels, with a willingness to question the status quo while driving innovation.
    • Strong project management skills to advance projects across multiple platforms, channels, and teams.
    • Ability to work independently, driving projects to completion in a matrixed environment.
