The PositionThe Manager, QRI Investment Services will work closely with the Director of QRI Investment Services to establish and implement an operating model to support the Quantitative Research & Investments team. The individual must:

  • Be comfortable working with investors and demonstrate an understanding of the investment process
  • Be creative and resourceful in responding to time-sensitive ad hoc requests
  • Have a familiarity with digital tools and quantitative techniques, as well as data management platforms
  • Collaborate on broader strategic initiatives across QRI, Asset Management and Fidelity
  • Combine analytical thinking and a personal confidence to make recommendations
  • Be able to think out of the box and strive for continuous improvementResponsibilities
    • Building partnerships and collaborate with Finance, Technology, CRBO, FFIO and other units that support QRI
    • Assist in documentation and transition of new areas of work within QRI, while maintaining and updating procedural documents
    • Propose process enhancements for the efficient, accurate and timely completion of operational tasks, workflows and ad-hoc requests
    • Assist with the preparation of various presentation decks including QRI all hands, QBR materials, scorecards etc.
    • Support the implementation of controls, new processes, and operational activities to support and grow the QRI businessThe Expertise and Skills You Bring
      • Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity
      • Must be highly organized, meticulous and detail oriented
      • Demonstrated experience as a contributing member of an impactful team
      • Proven ability to effectively communicate and build positive relationships with peers and business partners
      • Independent but also able to balance independence with team work and collaboration
      • Bachelor s Degree expected, preferably in either Accounting, Finance or Economics
