Job Description:The RoleAs the Asset Management (AM) Head of
Compensation and Account Manager, you will be a member of the AMHR
Leadership Team and the overall Fidelity Compensation Leadership
team.\u00A0 You will be responsible for evolving and enhancing the
AM and overall Fidelity compensation strategy.\u00A0 You will
ensure the Fidelity compensation philosophy is translated to the AM
organization and develop business unit specific strategies to
attract, retain, and reward our employees.\u00A0 You will be
expected to:
- Provide subject matter expertise for the Compensation and HR
Business Partner team ensuring the capabilities and resources are
in place to deliver data driven solutions.
- Be accountable for demonstrating a deep understanding of
business requirements, looking across the business units/segments
and functions to ensure that all programs are aligned with the
rewards strategy.
- Lead AM specific compensation initiatives and programs, working
in partnership with the HR team to design, deliver and advise on
solutions that meet the needs of the Asset Management business
groups.The Head of Compensation will lead the compensation team and
work directly with HR partners and senior leaders to provide the
consulting and leadership to effectively develop and manage
compensation programs and solutions in support of overall business
objectives.
The Expertise You Have
- 10+ years of experience; executive compensation strategy and
design experience required, experience in Asset Management, Private
Equity and/or Venture Investing preferred
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand business
strategies, objectives, and key performance metrics applicable in
the investment area.
- Proven management experience with successful history navigating
large, matrixed organizationsThe Skills You Bring

- You can effectively manage large programs, projects, and teams
with demonstrated planning discipline and structure
- You have designed, developed, and managed a variety of
compensation programs and processes including base salary, variable
pay programs, and competitive pay analyses with a focus in
Investment Management, preferably with a knowledge of a variety of
asset classes
- You have deep analytical skills with an ability to break down
complex questions and data into well-structured analyses, and
synthesize key points
- You are passionate about building consultative partnerships
with HR, Finance, and senior business leaders and are a strong
collaborator that can work effectively across a large
organization
- You demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability
to interact with all levels of the organization both verbally and
in writing related to sensitive and confidential information in a
professional manner
- You enjoy developing and managing a team of associates\u00A0The

changing workplace, driving work related to our compensation
strategy and initiatives, answering questions like: Are we
effectively leveraging variable comp programs and managing base

programs in future years?
- Team Leadership /Client Support/Relationship Management:
Provide leadership, consultation, coaching and advice to the Comp
team, Line HR, and senior business leaders on complex issues.
Conducting analyses to address compensation issues, projects, or
initiatives.
- Compensation & Workforce Analytics: Work closely with Workforce
Analytics team and HR partners define the analytical tools to drive
more effective comp analysis and decision making for leaders in
support business plans and practices.
- Program Strategy & Design: Lead the compensation team to
partner with Finance/ Investment Performance and Workforce
Analytics teams to assess and redesign compensation plans as needed
to support business initiatives and adhere to plan governance.
Represent the voice of the customer in the design of
enterprise-wide pay programs.
- Functional Partner / Representation of Asset Management: You
will be an active contributor to compensation functional efforts
and objectives. You will provide an Asset Management perspective as
you work with other Comp and HR Teams across the enterprise to
continuously develop, improve, and deliver our compensation
strategies and resources.The TeamThe AM Human Resources team
consists of associates who work in line HR, training, operations,
compensation, and workforce analytics. We act as a key business
partner to our colleagues within the business units to develop and
implement HR and learning programs and strategies. We also partner
closely with enterprise HR teams to deploy and support central
