Job Description

Takeda Development Center Americas, Inc. is seeking a Director, Machine Learning & Digital CMC Cell Therapy in Cambridge, MA with the following requirements: Master's degree in Fine Arts, Sculpture, Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field or foreign academic equivalent plus 9 years of related experience. Required skills: Develop and implement strategy for cancer research data platforms, with a focus ontology-based harmonization to support the integration and analysis of genomics data; lead cross-functional teams including data scientists, software developers, bioinformatics experts, and pharmacologists, to identify and solve scientific and technical challenges in cancer data research; design, build, and maintain large-scale cloud-based data processing systems, including data ingestion, storage, and analysis pipelines, implementing custom genomics data tools for scientific research; collaborate with academic and industry partners, identify best practices and standards in ontology-based data integration and represent the company at conferences, workshops, and build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Up to 20% domestic and international travel required. Up to 30% remote work allowed.
