OfficeThe Enterprise Services Business Risk Office provides risk
management support to several lines of business including: Tech,
Enterprise Product & Experience, Brand, Enterprise Supplier
Management, Capital One Ventures, External Affairs, Capital One

As a Risk Guide supporting the Enterprsie ML program, you will
partner with colleagues across AI/ML product, design, and tech to
deliver results that have a direct impact on customer experience
and implement risk solutions to ensure Capital One's continued
stability and success. You should consider this role if you're

of teams and risk advisors across the company.
In this role, you will leverage your technical skills to assess and
mitigate risks associated with the deployment of machine learning
models and AI systems. This includes performing risk assessments,
developing risk mitigation strategies, and implementing technical
controls to safeguard against potential threats. You will work
closely with engineering and data science teams to ensure that risk
management practices are integrated into the development lifecycle
of AI/ML products. One will need to manage multiple deliverables at
the same time, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and
clear communication. Your ability to understand technical concepts
and translate them into actionable risk management plans will be
crucial.
This role operates within a dynamic environment with changing
conditions, and a core component of success is building
relationships and influencing decision-makers with grounded
information. You will need to stay updated on the latest
technological advancements and regulatory requirements impacting
AI/ML, ensuring that the company's risk management strategies are
robust and compliant.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute AI/ML risk office vision and deliver on
enterprise and team objectives by working with the AI/ML risk
team
Lead AI/ML Product and Tech teams to deliver on the identification
and development of risks, issues, and/or mitigation plans to ensure
the business implements needed changes and addresses areas of
exposure.
Develop and help to deliver senior level risk management reporting
and communications
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders
across multiple organizations to achieve strategic objectives
Coordinate program-related activities and deliverables to ensure
effective collaboration within the team and across stakeholder
groups
Continuously look for ways to improve and innovate in our approach
to risk management.
Establish and maintain relationships with Enterprise Services
process owners, process managers, and vertical risk advisors
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management
At least 3 years of experience supporting internal business
clients
At least 3 years of experience in project, process, or program
management
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Change or Process Management
Risk Certifications (i.e. CISM, CRISC, CISSP, etc.)
Business Process Management certification, Lean or Green Belt
Certification
Strong communication skills with various stakeholders with proven
ability to drive results
Understanding of appropriate controls to secure cloud-based
services (SaaS) products
Knowledge of Machine Learning
Knowledge of Generative AI

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are
listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information
is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these
locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay
at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be
prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly
worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $199,100 - $227,200 for Sr.
Manager, Cyber Risk & AnalysisCandidates hired to work in other
locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that
location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any
candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the
candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive
compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term
incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non
discretionary depending on the plan.Capital One offers a
