National Accounts, you'll be a key player in driving group revenue
for the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport. Your mission: to
cultivate new business, foster repeat business, and secure large
convention room block opportunities, all while optimizing overall

elevating both the guest experience and the hotel's reputation

chat.Responsibilities
- Drive Results: Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing
directly to the hotel's overall success. You'll be accountable for
hitting both weekly and annual goals in a way that's creative and
strategic.
- Lead Sales Initiatives: Cultivate a portfolio of group business
accounts through proactive solicitation, strategic marketing,
participation in trade shows, and engaging in sales blitzes. Be the
catalyst for new opportunities!
- Own Your Territory: Develop and maintain a robust database of
accounts within your defined territory, ensuring all prospects are
identified, qualified, and nurtured.
- Collaboration is Key: Work closely with teams across the hotel,
including Convention Services and Reservations, to ensure a
seamless experience for our clients and guests.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with
clients, trade partners, and internal teams to ensure that every
client interaction is exceptional and every detail is attended
to.
- Creative Problem Solving: Use your creativity to find
innovative solutions, particularly when faced with challenges that
push you to think outside the box. Your ideas will be valued
here.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent Omni Hotels in the best light,
sharing our commitment to excellence and helping clients understand
all the benefits of partnering with us - not just at the Omni
Boston, but across the brand's properties nationwide.Qualifications
- Experience Matters: At least five years of experience in group
sales, ideally within a hotel or resort environment. You're a
seasoned pro who knows how to close deals, from cold calls to site
inspections and contract negotiations.
- Industry Connections: You have prior experience working with
global sales organizations and Convention Bureaus, and you
understand the importance of building strong industry
relationships.
- Tech Savvy: You're comfortable with the latest sales software
and tools, and you're always ready to learn more about the tech
that drives our industry.
- Willingness to Travel: Represent the hotel at trade shows,
conventions, and other industry events, traveling to expand your
