Job Description:
Works on an Agile inter-disciplinary team to perform data
analytics and research. Analyzes customer behavior to touch-points
tied to customer attributes, preferences, and outcomes. Maintains
and develops best-in-class analytical/research expertise, defines
standards, and scales self-serve data analytics, research, and
experimentation approaches. Primary Responsibilities: Uses multi-layered customer data to design in-house predictive
analytics models that predict customers' needs and actions and
recommend strategies for enhancing customers' retirement
planning. Applies advanced data analytics to proprietary databases to
generate critical insights. Collaborates with senior managers to identify and solve a
variety of problems and to clarify management objectives. Prepares management reports, defines and evaluates problems
quantitatively, and recommends solutions. Defines data requirements, gathers and validates information,
and performs statistical tests. Observes current systems in operation and gathers and analyzes
information about each of the parts of component problems, using a
variety of sources. Works closely with business leaders and stakeholders to gather
requirements, drive end-to-end analytics to generate insight using
data intelligence, and solve business problems. Develops predictive analytics solutions and tools to generate
insights to customers' profiling, triggers of actions, and trends
of retirement savings. Summarizes and presents data-driven customer insights to
recommend suitable product-offering strategies and client advocacy
for better financial planning. Synthesizes proprietary databases to measure and track
relationship strength indicator metrics. Works across business units to identify key business problems
and performs root-cause analysis by applying data intelligence,
mathematical modeling and tools including, SAS and SQL. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Business
Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or a closely
related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or
six (6) years of experience performing data modeling, analysis, and
transformation, using statistical methods (ARIMA-X and Regressions)
and data analytics software (SAS and Oracle SQL) within financial
services industry. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering,
Economics, or a closely related field and four (4) years of
experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience
performing data modeling, analysis, and transformation, using
statistical methods (ARIMA-X and Regressions) and data analytics
software (SAS and Oracle SQL) within financial services
industry. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) gathering and interpreting business
and stakeholder requirements using Microsoft office suite; and
sourcing and developing business, functional, and technical
requirements, analytical strategies, and data transformations to
inform business decision making -- customer experience, operational
efficiency, and customer service strategy domains -- within a
consumer financial services company, using SAS and SQL. DE mapping customer decision journeys and analyzing customer
touch points -- customers financial actions, and interaction
history and characteristics -- through 360 degree data mining using
multi-layer Oracle databases; and researching and designing
customer experience solutions using data intelligence derived
through statistical methods (ARIMA-X and Logit Regressions). DE performing data extraction and synchronizing, and analyzing
data warehouses, using SAS (base and ETS) and Oracle SQL server;
and designing data models and generating self-serve visual insights
from customer data, using QlikSense to present analysis output
(customer needs, patterns, and strategy) to stakeholders. DE applying statistical methods (ARIMA and Regressions) to large
data to determine patterns and relationships among data and measure
impact of business strategies in the retirement services
