Job Description:
Manages the development and delivery of large-scale Cloud
initiatives and modernization technology programs in a
matrix-managed environment. Delivers new products and services on
Cloud platforms that enhance the digital customer experience.
Provides systems for the development of brokerage services. Uses
business knowledge to perform project management of technology
projects. Works with end-users to coordinate and support product
development. Acts as a primary liaison for business units to
resolve various project/technology issues. Establishes full project
life cycle plans for one or more complex projects. Primary Responsibilities: Elicits, captures, and interprets customer problems from
multiple perspectives across projects or within a program. Presents implications and recommendations with a strategic
perspective influencing project parameters and outcomes. Envisions and creates solutions that meet the requirements of
the business, models the required infrastructure and points of
integration, and provides the overall blueprint/roadmap for
delivering solutions. Converts internal requirements into workable project documents
and process enhancements. Ensures quality and timely application development, deployment,
and integration by coordinating with subsystem application owners
and stakeholders. Contributes to the estimation, planning, analysis, design, and
development of projects. Estimates appropriate time frames for releases based on effort
estimations. Maintains requirement backlogs. Coordinates with business, testing, and release management teams
to address production incidents in a timely manner. Fosters and champions innovative technology solutions to resolve
complex business problems. Works in a fast-paced environment delivering tactical and
strategic technology solutions. Establishes and project manages analysis plans for multiple
moderately complex work steams. Holds accountability for integration into larger,
multi-disciplined projects, as appropriate. Education and Experience Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Business Administration, Project Management, or a closely related
field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five
(5) years of experience managing the delivery of high volume, low
latency financial applications. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Project
Management. or a closely related field and three (3) years of
experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience
managing the delivery of high volume, low latency financial
applications. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) in all phases of the project
lifecycle -- performing requirements analysis, design, development,
implementation, support, enhancement, and maintenance of project
plans -- using Microsoft Project, Atlassian JIRA, and Confluence;
working in a matrix team environment to support project
communication, and to develop risk management and mitigation plans
-- process mapping and improvements; and performing large-scale
digital Agile transformations using digital transformation
technologies -- Red Hat OpenShift and VMware Pivotal Cloud
Foundry. DE designing, supporting, and managing the delivery of high
volume, low latency financial applications on modern service-based
architectures; identifying and predicting complex operational
problems and analyzing the information used to design preventive
Information Technology (IT) solutions; reviewing performance test
reports to identify indicators of system performance and the
actions needed to improve it per system goals; and analyzing the
implications of new information for current and future
problem-solving. DE leading Agile transformations -- training, coaching,
building, and managing backlogs and facilitating ceremonies while
maintaining and enforcing high development standards and consistent
delivery schedules; and building a self-organized, cross-functional
team to develop and enhance software applications, using an
incremental and iterative approach from a prioritized product
backlog to deliver high value software while mitigating risks
according to Agile project management -- Scrum Framework. DE in project management of IT implementations; working with a
team of engineers to develop, deploy, and support financial
applications in production environments; leading cross functional
team initiatives for programs -- upgrading and decommissioning
obsolete technologies and platform migrations; and coordinating
release schedules across multiple team product suites and providing
