Job Description:

Determines and specifies business requirements, workflows, use cases, and processes for financial services products. Partners with product and technology platform teams to gather and document business requirements for new products and enhancements for existing products in an Agile construct. Executes analysis for large-sized projects. Documents requirements, creates roadmaps, prioritizes initiatives, and makes design recommendations for large-sized projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

Engages with prospective and current clients, and business partners to understand workflows and client needs.

Documents business requirements through journey/story mapping, epic/story writing, and design.

Facilitates requirements gathering ceremonies and communicates complex business strategies to team and Tribe members.

Researches and evaluates alternative solutions to ongoing business issues.

Analyzes and documents current business processes and recommends future state.

Leads business and technology partners to work together to ensure clear translation from business to systems requirements.

Reviews client feedback and product backlogs to continually enhance client products.

Performs feasibility and cost/benefits analysis.

Performs validation and testing of business models to ensure adequacy and reformulates models, as necessary.

Researches and evaluates alternative solutions.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience performing business or systems analysis -- leading business definition, requirements gathering, story writing, and performing User Acceptance testing (UAT) -- within an institutional or retail brokerage environment.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience performing business or systems analysis -- leading business definition, requirements gathering, story writing, and performing User Acceptance testing (UAT) -- within an institutional or retail brokerage environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) implementing digital experience platform enhancement efforts according to regulatory and compliance program rules within a financial brokerage environment, using eReview, CMS (Content Management System), eSignature, ADA, and CAT.

DE gathering and interpreting business, functional, and technical requirements to support the building or enhancement of digital experiences -- voice, chat, Web callback, omni-channel, and co-browse; clarifying the scope of complex business requirements and process issues into logical use cases -- epics and stories -- within a financial brokerage environment; and performing GAP analysis and creating current and future state workflows using Microsoft Visio.

DE analyzing and defining the product management lifecycle -- managing requirements and workflows (using JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, and MS Visio), and performing the end-to-end implementation of new brokerage digital platform products, including creating new digital experience enhancements on a brokerage platform (using MS Visio, Microsoft Suite, JIRA, Mural, Tableau, Confluence, Adobe Analytics, and Jira Align).

DE in the full systems development lifecycle -- participating in daily stand-ups, Agile and Scrum ceremonies, sprint and iteration planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings; maintaining product, sprint, and iteration backlogs, epics and stories, and journey and story mapping, using JIRA, Confluence, and MURAL; and performing functional testing and UAT of stories, using HP Quality Center and SQL (for data validation and bug resolution.).
