Job Description:
Manipulates, analyzes, and explores data using Python, R, and
SQL. Acquires data and evaluates using statistical Artificial
Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques. Calculates
analytic, predictive, and prescriptive solutions to provide
detailed explanations for customers. Builds data-driven
capabilities to improve business outcomes. Primary Responsibilities: Performs data extraction and cleaning, features extraction and
creation. Prepares data for processing by organizing information, checks
for inaccuracies, and adjusts and weights the raw data. Analyzes and interprets statistical data to identify significant
differences in relationships among sources of information. Identifies relationships and trends in data, and factors that
affect the results of research. Processes large amounts of data for statistical modeling and
graphic analysis. Evaluates the statistical methods and procedures used to obtain
data to ensure validity, applicability, efficiency, and
accuracy. Prepares and structures data warehouses for storing data. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Data
Science, Computational Statistics, Operations Research, Computer
Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related field and
five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years
of experience building prescriptive and predictive solutions using
AI and ML techniques. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Data Science, Computational Statistics, Operations
Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely
related field and two (2) year of experience in the job offered or
two (2) years of experience building prescriptive and predictive
solutions using AI and ML techniques. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) driving analytics and machine
learning initiatives using Python or R, and Cloud services (Amazon
Web Services (AWS); providing technical leadership and supervision
during the implementation and deployment of major advanced
analytics and machine learning based projects within a financial
services environment; and implementing advanced analytics and
machine learning based projects from ideation to implementation by
providing guidance, training, and thought leadership within a
financial services environment. DE building and maintaining data pipelines to generate
personalized next best actions and content recommendations by
deploying and running Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine
Learning (ML) models, using S3, EC2 and EMR in AWS. DE performing data collation using SQL; performing data
manipulation, exploration, analysis, visualization, and reporting
using Python or R; driving purchasing decisions by testing and
evaluating data science vendor products using Python or R; and
presenting findings to management using Python or R, Tableau, and
PowerPoint presentations. DE developing analytical solutions using statistical and machine
learning models in supervised and unsupervised scenarios (Logistic
Regressions, Decision Trees, Gradient Boosting, Neural Network
