Position Description:

Implements Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines that accelerate and automate software development process using Jenkins. Synthesizes raw data to develop enterprise level data warehouses using Informatica for ETL. Develops data Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to support varied application requirements. Combines database and procedural programming languages and efficiently processes workloads using Oracle database management tools -- PL/SQL and SQL tuning. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.

Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience performing Oracle application, product development, and data warehousing on Cloud platforms in a finance and investing domain.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience performing Oracle application, product development, and data warehousing on Cloud platforms in a finance and investing domain.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) designing, developing, and optimizing high volume, low latency, distributed database applications, using PLSQL, SQL, and Apex within Oracle databases; and tuning complex SQL Queries.

DE performing warehouse design and development using ETL Informatica; configuring jobs using Autosys, Unix shell scripts, Oracle, and Snowflake; and performing database design and modelling using Erwin and ER studio.

DE automating unit testing, integrating SonarQube, and deploying Oracle database code, APIs, and ETL scripts using CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Concourse, and U-Deploy.

DE developing data application APIs to support varied application requirements in native Amazon Web Services (AWS) (EC2 and S3), Snowflake, and Python; and migrating projects from on-premise to Cloud AWS.
