Job Description:

Duties: Designs, develops, and maintains Java-based Web services to support

accounting and investment management services. Performs mid-tier

application development within an Agile environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going

development efforts.

• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in

multiple platforms.

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several

divisional initiatives.

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to

implementation.

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications

supporting several corporate initiatives.

• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a

project.

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis

for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience developing

financial applications for domestic and international mutual fund and

security reporting, distribution, NAV, Yield, and MIL; Or, alternatively, a

Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,

Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics,

Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the

job offered or one (1) year of experience developing financial applications

for domestic and international mutual fund and security reporting,

distribution, NAV, Yield, and MIL. Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing middle tier financial applications

to distribute NAV, generate yields, and process fair value pricing,

including middle tier management, configuration, and development, using

Tomcat 7/8, WebMQ, Apache, XTRAC, ezPAAS, and PAAS-DI; DE developing front

end financial applications to distribute NAV, including content development

using Spring, iBatis/myBatis, and Hibernate; batch and job scheduling using

Control-M; build and deploy using continuous integration tools (Jenkins,

Maven, git stash, SONAR, HPOO, and uDeploy); and test automation using

jUnit, Selenium, and UFT; DE developing backend financial services

applications using Java, C++, C, Perl, and PL SQL, within an Oracle and DB2

environment; and developing client side reports using Jasper reports,

configuration, and server administration; DE coordinating vendor led

initiatives for system and infrastructure upgrades within an offshore and

onshore environment, including coordinating project tasks, system

components, and status using UML.
