is currently recruiting for a Full Time day shift Medical Coding Specialist II
Job Requirements:

  • Required: Coding - 5 years
  • Required: Cert Coding Specialist, Cert Professional Coder
  • Multi-specialty coding experience and specialty coding certifications preferred. 5+ years coding experience required. Epic, GECB, or Allscript experience preferred. Comprehensive understanding of the entire billing cycle, medical terminology, coding, charge entry, insurance adjudication, contractual agreement, payment posting, statements and collections. Market: Sentara is a Virginia and Southeast North Carolina based large healthcare provider that has been in business for over a 131 years.
