Registered Nurse with experience in urology, incontinence, wound
care and/or ostomy. SCI Rehabilitation or pediatric experience is a
plus but not required. Med Surg and/or sales industry experience is
also a plus. The primary responsibility is partnering with the Home
Care sales team, providing clinical support to SCI facilities,
pediatric clinics, acute hospitals and outreach to recently
discharged patients. Duties include providing intermittent catheter
training, incontinence training and education and clinical support
to nursing and their patients. Developing a strategy and synergy to
support the role of the sales team in providing product education
to the Home Care call points. The position involves working closely
with nursing leaders, physicians, case managers and their patients
as they transition from the hospital to the home. Ideal Candidate
resides in BOSTON, MA AREA area but can live anywhere in the
geography Responsibilities: Communicate professionally with nurse
managers, clinical educators, staff nurses, OT and PT, case
managers, physicians and patients to promote BD, Liberator and LINK
Ensure staff are well trained on BD products, LINK and Liberator
Ensure facility has necessary supplies and literature to help train
patients to self-cath or to use PureWick Assist in working with
patients transitioning from hospital to home that are enrolled in
LINK, helping to ensure a smooth transition and product compliance
Support and collaborate with ATM/TM sales team Flexible to meet the
needs of a growing business Assist with internal quality
improvement efforts Attend assigned national conferences &
exhibitions Make prudent economic decisions regarding travel
Maintain personal schedule Understand and abide by FDA guidelines
for manufacturers Comply with hospital rules and requirements
Qualifications: Currently licensed RN / BSN or BS and SCI
Rehabilitation experience, CRRN a plus Excellent interpersonal
communication skills to work with internal team members and
customers Willing to travel including overnights- 60% / week
Teaching experience, leadership experience a plus Excellent
presentation skills Ability to develop positive relationships with
physicians and nurses Strong work ethic and a self-starter Positive
can-do attitude Must have evidence of being a team player Ability
to drive to hospitals and accounts Professional attire required for
conferences and hospital visits Must possess and maintain a valid
state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.
