beautiful 40-acre suburban campus.We are seeking a full-time and
part-time aides to help us meet the care needs of our assisted

Responsibilities: Provides personal care services and assists
residents with full or partial baths, showers or whirlpools and
care of the hair, nails, teeth and any other personal care needs as
identified in service plan. Observes and reports any variation in
the resident's appearance such as pallor, flushed skin, decline in
mobility, etc. Reminds residents to take prescribed medication as
reviewed and approved by the RN as stated in the service plan.
Follows SAMM medication reminder guidelines and training and in
compliance with EOEA regulations. Supports the resident's self-help
abilities and assists with the improvement of activities of daily
living as identified in the service plan.Promotes good health
practices and encourages maximum independence within resident's
capabilities.Responsible for the care of any special equipment as
directed by the nursing staff and the service plan assignment (i.e.
foley care, colostomy, etc.). Keeps the resident's room neat and
clean and, in some cases, does routine light housekeeping. Does
laundry as necessary for the care and cleanliness of the residents.
Safely transports residents to the dining room and activities as
scheduled. Follows all assigned activities on the resident's
service plan and reviews any questions or issues with the Wellness
NurseReviews completed assignments and documentation with Wellness
Nurse at the end of each shift. Demonstrates safe patient care
practices in the assisted living setting by consistently adhering
to OSHA & Universal Precautions, using appropriate measures to
ensure personal safety and reporting potentially unsafe situations
to Charge Nurse. Assures the safety of residents at all times.
Maintains strict confidentiality of resident information at all
times. Maintains professional demeanor with colleagues, residents
and family members at all times. Understands family dynamics and
works effectively within various types of family systems to provide
effective care. Communicates timely reports of resident status
changes concisely and effectively. Demonstrates flexibility to meet
changing work needs and demands. Maintains equipment according to
agency and/or facility guidelines. Assumes responsibility for
knowledge and compliance with Agency mission, policies, protocols
and procedures. Demonstrates awareness of the role as a Aveanna
Healthcare representative in the facility and fosters good
community relations through attainment of customer satisfaction.
Complies with Aveanna Healthcare standards for Service Excellence
in addition to standards set by the Assisted Living facility to
ensure resident/family satisfaction. Attends 12 hours of in-service
programs to keep skills current and certification valid. Attends
facility in-services including required EOEA training, participates
in department and agency meetings and other related activities.
Maintains excellent attendance record. Upholds the compliance
objectives, policies, and procedures of Aveanna Healthcare.
Performs other related duties of a similar nature and complexity as
directed by Aveanna Healthcare. or facility staff in support of
facility operations. Skills and Knowledge: High School Graduate or
GED required. Certification from an approved Home Health Aide
training program with skills checklist signed by RN required. Equal
